I started in Internet Marketing part-time in late 2001. For a personal project I developed a website focused on the housing market of a major city. I taught myself Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and got the site ranked in the top 3.

A large portion of how I achieve this was to find sites that could drive traffic to my site. The additional link popularity was just an added benefit. By obtaining high-quality relevant links my small site ranked in the top ten with national companies. That is when I discovered the true power of links!

The other method I used to obtain links was to create useful resources for my users. I then actively promoted these resources to get links, users and for branding. I used both online and off-line promotional techniques.

I worked part-time on my own site until 2004 when I joined WeBuildPages.com. I worked there for over a year and half. In that time I developed their Directory Submission Service and worked on dozens of link popularity campaigns. Clients included Fortune 500, top online retailers and small to medium size businesses. Markets included travel, real estate, retail, law, health, online education, software, health products and many more.

Currently I am the principal of Justilien Internet Marketing Solutions. I offer SEO consulting, custom link building and link building training.
