Posted on | September 30, 2008 |
Want to put together a viral marketing campaign? Read my column at SearchEngineWatch about small viral campaign that gets results.
Here’s the scoop. Most viral campaigns won’t become large-scale. Few actually achieve that status. In nature, viral infections rarely turn into plagues. They tend to be small — yet can have a big impact on a community. The same holds true of viral campaigns. You can have a small campaign that has a big impact in your industry or community.

True that most campaigns never really take off, but when looking at one’s like “Subserviant Chicken” by Burger King which still get’s millions of hits a year. I say the money is well worth investing in, especially since it can be run on long term instead of for a niche market.
