Dominical has been a long-time favorite of surfers, backpackers and college aged people. With the road soon to be complete from Quepos that will be changing. It is located in the central Pacific in the province of Puntarenas

Getting There
Many come from Costa Rica’s capital San Jose via San Isidro de General. Or from the nearby town of Quepos. Since the road from Quepos to Dominical is in the process of being paved it can be a slow and dusty journey.
